Barkan Management Company seeks an experienced and polished part-time Condominium Assistant Manager for a high-rise condominium building consisting of 185 units located The Whitman Condominium. The address is 910 M St. NW Washington, DC and is located near the DC Convention Center. The part-time Assistant Manager would be expected to work 20 hours per week on weekdays, not weekends. The Assistant Manager must ensure the delivery of best-in-class services to unit owners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the General Manager with the operation of the condominium including supervision of 24/7 concierge staff, and contractors. Integral to this position is the ability and proven track record in unit owner relations, getting to know all residents, and being the face of the community. In addition to the foregoing, the Assistant Manager will have administrative skills to include, but not be limited to, writing letters, notices, emails, sending weekly updates to the community using our BuildingLink communication platform, uploading and processing invoices in Yardi, and assisting with the development of a monthly Board packet. Additionally, the Assistant Manager must be able to initiate and supervise projects within the building, establish positive vendor relationships and identify cost savings where possible. Attendance at monthly Board meetings is not required. The ability to drive and guide resident committees is vital. The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in condominium management or a related field.
The hourly rate for this position is between $25-$30/hr. depending on work related experience and education. We are looking for an Assistant Manager ASAP. Please let us know if you are interested.
