Barking Oaks Pet Resort is a luxury Resort for pets located in Central texas! With over 10,000 sq ft of Facility and over 15,000 sq ft of play yards! We are currently on the works of opening our 2 second location and will sooner after start working on the 3rd and 4th. Barking Oaks Pet Resort is growing and if you're looking to make the pet care industry your career this would be the start of a wonderful journey! We are looking for 8 Kennel Tech/ Daycare Attendants that will be the foundation of Barking Oaks Pet Resort and the future development to come. The company culture is laid back, fast past and passionate about animals and the industry in itself! We are looking for Hardworking, Passionate and Creative People to help us grow! At the moment we are in our star- up phase as we transition out of the mom-and-pop style of operations and at the time it is understandable that you will be learning/ doing more than what you were hired for which is awesome because you will be learning about the operation of a pet resort in general. We are here to grow in the industry! We do offer on the job training, Dog college, and as well as the option for future careers growth as we grow and develop!
- Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the daycare facility, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their dogs' behavior, health, and progress
Requirements of Dog Daycare Assistant:
- Must be able to work outside and inside
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and other staff members
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
