Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting in heavy civil construction, with an emphasis on recruitment of entry level and professional personnel.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources, or Business related field of study or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to market and promote roles, employment opportunities, and company culture
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to record and efficiently document information.
- Understanding of OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action requirements.
- Implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting for all open positions including entry-level (campus) and experienced roles.
- Assist with the coordination and management of on-campus branding and recruiting activities to include career fairs, information sessions, lunch and learns, class talks, etc.
- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
- Screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates to the hiring managers.
- Schedule onsite interviews for all candidates.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork including on-boarding activities.
- Partner with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to all recruitment activities (i.e. position requisitions and applicant tracking).
- Up to 40% travel
