Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Online Marketing and Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team at Barnsco, a leading provider of construction equipment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving online marketing strategies, generating leads, and increasing sales through digital channels. This position requires a combination of marketing expertise, sales acumen, and knowledge of the construction equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Online Marketing Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive online marketing strategies to promote construction equipment products.
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
    • Create digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  2. Lead Generation and Sales:

    • Generate high-quality sales leads through online channels, including search engines, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Qualify leads and collaborate with the sales team to convert online inquiries into sales.
    • Track and manage customer leads using CRM software and ensure timely follow-up.
  3. Website and E-commerce Management:

    • Optimize the company website for lead conversion, ensuring it is user-friendly, informative, and fully aligned with brand messaging.
    • Ensure that product listings, specifications, and pricing are up-to-date and accurate on e-commerce platforms.
    • Monitor website analytics to track performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  4. Content Creation and Campaign Management:

    • Create engaging content for digital platforms, including blog posts, videos, social media posts, and product descriptions.
    • Manage online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and industry-specific platforms.
    • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and lead conversion.
  5. Social Media Marketing:

    • Manage the company’s social media accounts, creating regular posts that highlight product features, promotions, industry insights, and customer success stories.
    • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and promote online discussions about construction equipment.
  6. Email Marketing:

    • Design and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote new products, and offer special promotions.
    • Build and manage segmented email lists for personalized communication and track campaign performance.
  7. Collaboration with Sales Team:

    • Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, leads, and insights for closing deals.
    • Assist the sales team with creating proposals, presentations, and product demos as needed.
    • Participate in sales meetings and share feedback on the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  8. Analytics and Reporting:

    • Monitor, measure, and report on the success of online marketing efforts and sales metrics.
    • Provide insights on market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activity to improve future marketing strategies.
    • Regularly report on ROI and digital sales performance to senior management.
  9. Customer Relationship Management:

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2-5 years of experience in online marketing, sales, or digital media, preferably within the construction, industrial, or equipment sector.
    • Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaigns and sales growth through online channels.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
    • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
    • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and marketing software tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of the construction equipment industry or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and B2B online sales.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
