The CARES team provides a safe, nurturing environment for a small group of multi-grade students who benefit from flexible learning structures and social-emotional support. You’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of behavior student support staff and other licensed educators, all working together to make a lasting difference.
As a CARES Teacher, you will:
- Develop and implement individualized academic plans that meet students’ diverse needs.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages growth, confidence, and social-emotional regulation.
- Collaborate closely with the team to integrate trauma-informed practices and behavioral strategies into your teaching.
- Inspire a love of learning and help students navigate challenges to achieve success.
Qualifications:
- Certified VT Teacher (License or eligible for licensure)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A passion for meeting the needs of diverse learners
