Description
Performs assembly operations to produce sub-assemblies and completed firearms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs various assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Performs measurements, using calipers, micrometers, and dial gages.
- Performs functional and operational test of firearms.
- Repairs firearms returned by customers.
- Able to shoulder support and fire all rifles manufactured at BFMI.
- Able to fire rifle from a prone or bench position and fire as much as 300 rounds a day.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.

Position Requirements
- High school diploma required, technical degree preferred and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training. Military experience in firearms preferred.
- Maintain valid driver’s license. Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
- The employee must be able to lift and carry or move up to 70 pounds for long periods of time, in accordance with proper safe lifting procedures.
