What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Production Operations position at Barrington James?
We're currently partnered with a fast growing global CDMO who are looking for a Director of Production Operations to support significant site expansions.
Job Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for supervising staff and teams in preparing equipment and components for sterile filling processes
- You will be developing and managing budget and performance objectives, scheduling, hiring, timecards, performance evaluation, termination, and other staffing needs
- Manage and ensure cleanliness of certain areas, sanitation of clean rooms, sterilization of equipment, wash and prep of filling equipment, and the preparation of vials and ampoules, and through the completion of the sterile fill process
- The Production Director will be working on projects to improve the manufacturing process and writing SOPs and documents for it
Job Requirements
- You should be familiar with processes of Lyophilization, Sterile Fill Processes, Analyzing and Creating SOPs at all levels
- Previous experience managing a 24/7 facility and experience working in a CDMO environment
- Has been a key player in large growth or transformation in the past and must have a minimum of six 6 years’ experience in a leadership role
