As an RN/LPN Weekend Warrior, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care during weekend shifts. Reporting to the Nursing Supervisor, your role will involve performing patient assessments, administering medications, and developing care plans. With core competencies in catheterization and basic life support, along with premium skills in critical care and long-term care settings, you will ensure the well-being of patients. Your effective communication skills and knowledge of EHR systems will enhance collaboration with the healthcare team, making you a vital asset in our commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.
SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:
WEEKEND DOUBLE SHIFT (AM,PM)
1 SINGLE SHIFT DURING WEEKDAY* (MON PM OR FRI PM)
COMPLETE THE ABOVE- GET PAID ADDITIONAL SHIFT*
RN/LPN Weekend Warrior Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Assist in performing medical procedures such as venipuncture and suturing.
- Conduct patient assessments and document changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
RN/LPN Weekend Warrior Experience
Candidates should possess:
- A valid RN/LPN license from an accredited nursing program.
- Admitting new residents
- Helping physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
- Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
- Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
- Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
- Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents

Pay: From $34.76 per hour
