Role Overview

As an Account Manager - Outside Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by cultivating strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. You’ll represent Barton’s top-tier products and services, ensuring our customers achieve success in their projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Growth Identify and secure new business opportunities in the construction and building materials industry. Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
  • Product Expertise Stay informed about Barton’s products and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Account Management Provide exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration Partner with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or a related field, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
