We are hiring to fill three positions for this role. This posting is for our Basecamp Franklinton location, we are also hiring for Basecamp Reynoldsburg and Basecamp Behind the Walls programs.
Job Description: This position reports to the Operations Manager
The Driver Lead position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the transportation department, including scheduling and dispatching. Depending on staffing, it may be necessary to transport clients to and from the center, meetings and appointments. The position requires an upbeat, focused, welcoming and compassionate personality who can lead a team of drivers. The Driver Lead ensures the safety and comfort of all clients utilizing Basecamp’s vehicles.
Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Always adheres to restrictions on protected health information
- Promotes a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for all persons ● Conducts personal interactions in a professional manner
- Adheres to driving rules and regulations
- Implement and ensure routes are being followed by Drivers
- Schedule clients for appointments
- Dispatch Drivers
- Schedule Drivers
- Communicate effectively with clients and Drivers through Zoom
- Maintain daily status report
- Conduct Driver reviews
- Oversee staggered schedule
- Work with Housing Coordinators to ensure clients are being transported to proper meetings and weekend events
- Oversee weekly shopping lists
- Maintain driving logs
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with first aid and necessary emergency supplies ● Ensure driver compliance
- Ensure van rules and regulations are being followed
- Work with Operations Manager to hire drivers
- Attend meetings as required
- Drive as necessary
