Job Summary:
The Driver Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our driving team. This role involves ensuring safe and efficient transportation, providing guidance and support to drivers, and maintaining high service delivery standards. The Driver Lead will also play a key role in training new drivers and collaborating with management to implement best practices within the team.

• Managing transport schedules

  • Being available to patients to schedule transportation needs

Job Duties:

• Lead and supervise a team of drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Coordinate daily schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Monitor driver performance, and provide feedback.
• Assist in the training of new drivers.
• Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.
• Address any driver-related issues, concerns, or conflicts promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, vehicle maintenance, and other operational reports
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs and safety initiatives
• Ensure the proper handling of vehicles and compliance with maintenance schedules.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 Years of Professional driving experience
• 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using GPS and navigation tools; familiarity with transportation management software is a plus.
