- Develop and maintain partnerships with assigned project manufacturing representatives to execute projects from initial scoping and funding, through detailed engineering and procurement, to startup and commissioning, and then final documentation and closure.
- Your thorough decision-making ability will be necessary as you adhere to current corporate and plant requirements for equipment/materials specifications and vendor preferences in bid evaluations and procurement activities.
- Applying your ability to multi-task, you will maintain SAP project data entries, monitor project progress through scheduling and other tools, perform project status reporting, and control spending through appropriate tracking, forecasting, and adjustments
- Leveraging your educational background in an Engineering discipline as well as your professional project engineering and management experience, you will monitor and support construction activities to ensure that projects are completed according to the design deliverables, quality standards, and plant requirements, and that pre-startup safety reviews are conducted.
- Your keen attention to detail and ability to follow through will be essential as you ensure that Production achieves a successful project startup, and that any project-related action items are completed. You will also ensure that projects are closed per guidelines and ensure proper documentation of files, records, databases, and drawings to meet regulatory and BASF requirements.
- Your strong verbal and written communication skills will serve you well as you participate and contribute on teams or via ad hoc assignments with other site and NA Engineers to review, update, and develop project management procedures, guidelines, standards, and practices.
