Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet – 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043
Compensation: Between $20.00-$25.00 per hour (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)
Schedule: Full Time - 5 Day Work Week
Job Duties and qualifications:
- Responsible for ensuring all parts and products are entered into inventory accurately and efficiently
- Process all incoming parts orders from GM via dedicated delivery trucks, Fed Ex, UPS and all outside vendors
- Restocks shelves with new inventory
- Accurately record and manage parts inventory
- Handling of material returns (Core, Warranty, damaged returns)
- Maintain clean workplace
- Help drivers with loading of parts trucks
- Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule
- Maintain accurate accounting records for purchased and/or returned parts
- Keep parts area clean and well organized for production efficiency
