Vehicle Maintenance Technician / Fleet Service Technician

Job Summary:
Basin Upfitting is seeking a motivated and reliable Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will involve a range of tasks, including vehicle detailing, shuttle services, service maintenance, and vehicle modifications. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet runs smoothly while maintaining a fun, team-oriented work environment. If you’re self-motivated, have a valid driver's license, and are ready to contribute to getting the job done right, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailing to ensure vehicles meet company appearance standards.
- Shuttle vehicles to off-site vendors for maintenance or other services.
- Install license plates, OBD-II GPS plug-ins, and decals on fleet vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle safety inspections and ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history and modifications.
- Collaborate with the team to handle fleet upfitting and modifications as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work on-site in Boise, Idaho.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field.
- Data management experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong team player with a "get it done" mentality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
