What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer II position at BASIS.ed?
The Graphic Designer II will use their artistic abilities to create and design various materials for print and digital collateral. This individual, along with a team of other graphic designers, will be responsible for all aspects of the companys design process including advertising, digital design, illustration, and branding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
Certifications and Credentials: None
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in graphic design. Experience with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web is required. Must present a portfolio demonstrating work experience, style, and skills.
Computer Skills: Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software is required. Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
