Our specialty practice is seeking a Medical Assistant . This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:
Responsibilities:
· Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures
· Vitals and rooming patients
· Administering medications
· Maintaining exam rooms
· Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
· Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
· Scanning and faxing
· Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
· Medical Record entry
· Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments
Requirements
· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
· 1 years Back Office experience (preferred, not mandatory)
· MA Certificate
· Medical terminology
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
· Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Starting at $18.00 per hour *
