Qualifications:
General Description:
Under immediate supervision of certified employee, provides assistance to students and classroom teacher; works with students in a one-on-one or small group situation providing instruction or the use of instructional aids; assists in the preparation of activities and projects; monitors student activities; attends to health needs and personal needs of students (feeding, lifting, positioning, etc.); maintains high level of confidentiality of students, parents, and teachers; attends field trips and community experiences with class; operates computer and office equipment; administers student discipline code.
