What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Application Analyst-IS position at Bath & Body Works?
The Senior Application Analyst-IS ensures that EHR systems are effectively and efficiently deployed, managed, and used at NEMS. They will build on their depth knowledge both of NextGen (and other relevant applications used by NEMS) and of NEMS procedures, processes, and policies to help users and managers leverage the EHR functionality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Training and support of end users in using EHR systems
- Resolving complex trouble tickets with vendor tech support in addition to identifying and implementing requested changes to the system
- Guiding workflow design, building, and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software
- Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for organization workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions
- Supporting and managing continuous quality improvement process including troubleshooting programs and questions
- Systematically identify and follow up on quality problems
- Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining improvements to system configuration, training and/or workflows
- Researching, testing and recommending system/functionality enhancements and upgrades
- Project administration/coordination/management as required in addition to reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis leadership
- Creating and maintaining documentation including internal procedure manuals and end-user facing documentation
- Assists with training employees and provides mentorship to entry level staff
- Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2-6 years experience in supporting applications such as EMR/EHR.
- Completion of a four year degree from an accredited university or higher highly preferred and may substitute for years of working experience
- 1 year experience in training and support experience in both 1-1 and classroom settings, including creation of training and support manuals
- Epic certification preferred
- Must have basic to intermediate understanding of SQL
- Proficient in MS Office: Excel pivot tables, Visio process diagrams, Powerpoint presentations
- Excellent skills in collaboration, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal communication
LANGUAGE:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- The ability to speak a second language is an asset
STATUS:
This is a FLSA Exempt position.
