Be the heart of our nursing unit. BRGMC is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Unit Clerk to support the daily operations of our dynamic nursing team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you’ll help ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and an organized care environment for patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact at the nursing station
Manage phone calls, patient charts, and electronic medical records
Schedule tests, procedures, and transportation as needed
Support nursing staff with non-clinical administrative tasks
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality care
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous clerical or healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital systems is a plus
Strong computer and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
