What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced and compassionate RN skilled in cardiovascular diagnostic and recovery care
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Louisiana RN licensure required
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Knowledge of ECG rhythm interpretation and procedural sedation practices
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration

What You Will Do:Coordinate and provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, procedural sedation, and cardiac monitoring.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Perform physical and psychosocial assessments; document findings and care plans in the medical record
- Evaluate patient readiness for and recovery from cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
- Monitor ECG rhythm strips and notify physicians of any changes; manage interventions per ACLS standards
- Set up and monitor patients during Cardioversion, applying electrodes and paddles correctly
- Administer and manage procedural sedation safely and effectively
- Provide individualized patient education and support throughout the care process
- Delegate care appropriately, ensuring oversight and accountability
- Participate in discharge planning and patient handoffs
- Document treatments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
