Healthcare Construction Assistant Superintendent
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team.
5 years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Superintendent role.
- Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and renovation of building structures
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
- Understanding of ICRA requirements
- Functional understanding of scheduling software and practices
- Specific understanding of working electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of individuals including subcontractors, laborers, owner, peers, and supervisors
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to learn quickly
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Ability to oversee safe work practices to ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to manage project activities within time constraints of detailed schedule
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
