Do you want to transform an industry? Do you enjoy NOT working weekends? Do you crave new challenges and find delight in wowing people? As an Optician, you work at the exciting juncture of health and fashion. You work closely with our doctors to create customized recommendations to meet every patient's needs. Other responsibilities include:
- Educate patients on lens enhancements, frame selection and care of their eyewear
- Access and interpret patient insurance to maximize patient benefit
- Dispense eyewear, perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear, and troubleshoot and diagnose eyewear issues
- Create work orders and invoices that are accurate and timely, which includes pricing, measuring, data entry, coding and payment processing
- Inspect lenses to verify order accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.70 - $20.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
