Front of House Manager
Bavaro's is a family-owned Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant concept that has five restaurants in the Bay area, with Bavaro's St Pete recently celebrating it's seventh year in business. Home to Central Ave, the bustling neighborhood offers future growth and opportunity for those working with our company. As the Front of House Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, leading a team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our valued guests.
Duties may include:
Team Leadership - Motivate and manage the front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
Guest Service Excellence: Ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, addressing concerns promptly, and exceeding expectations.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff to enhance their skills in customer service, upselling, and product knowledge. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain efficient front of house schedules, taking into consideration peak hours, special events, and staff availability. Manage labor costs effectively while ensuring optimal service levels.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with General Manager to monitor and control inventory levels.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the front of house budget, including labor costs, supplies, and other related expenses.
Experience:
- 2 or more years in a leadership or management role in a restaurant
- P&L knowledge, inventory, food and labor cost management
- Knowledge of Toast, 7-Shifts, Restaurant 365 is a plus
- ServSafe Manager Certified or able to pass qualification test
