RN Job Description

We are currently searching for devoted, team-oriented, and compassionate RN's to join our team as an RN Supervisor in our skilled nursing center. In this role individuals will assist our residents with individualized care and promote independence while ensuring their highest level of dignity. Our RN Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of nursing personnel, medication administration, documentation, and care delivery in accordance with Department of Health regulations. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid R.N. license in State of Michigan.
• Valid C.P.R. certification card
• Maintains regulatory requirements.
• Position requires lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, twisting, stooping and sitting on a regular basis.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled, returns from breaks on time.
• Wears proper identification while on duty; uses computerized punch time system correctly.
• Actively participates in the Department Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
• Exhibits genuine interest in and appreciation of adults in later years of life.
• Is a motivated, independent individual who can organize workload so that all functions are completed appropriately.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and residents.
• Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
