Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to transform spaces into functional and visually appealing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, and executing plans that reflect the client's vision while adhering to industry standards.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to determine their interior design needs and preferences.
- Develop comprehensive design plans that include space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and lighting design.
- Utilize software such as Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Rhinoceros 3D to create detailed design presentations and technical drawings.
- Prepare contract documents and specifications for materials and furnishings.
- Oversee renovation projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
- Present design concepts to clients using Adobe Creative Suite for visual representation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide innovative solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in POS and CRM
- Strong understanding of lighting design principles and their application in interior spaces.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail with strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in interior design
