Remote | Full-Time Contractors | 45 hrs/week | 8 AM – 5 PM PST
Bay Legal, PC, a California-based law firm, is looking for highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy professionals to join our growing team. We are hiring Legal Assistants and Intake Specialists who can work remotely and collaborate seamlessly with our attorneys and staff.

- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, declarations, and case summaries.
- Format and prepare documents for court submission, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients, gather information, and assess case viability.
- Track deadlines, case milestones, and pending tasks using Clio and Lawmatics.
- File and serve legal documents, monitor court portals, and update attorneys.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, consultations, court appearances, and follow-ups.
- Maintain organized case files and manage accurate records in case management and CRM systems.
- Prepare client-facing documents, handle inquiries, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Collaborate on Zoom throughout your shift to ensure seamless communication with the team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Legal Management, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 2 years in a legal assistant, paralegal, intake, or legal support role in a U.S. law firm (required).
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong legal writing and document formatting ability.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word (styles, track changes, version control).
- Familiarity with Clio, Lawmatics, or other legal/CRM software.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in additional languages (a plus).
- Knowledge of real estate, construction law, or civil litigation drafting (a plus).
- Laptop or desktop (Intel i5 or equivalent, Windows 11)

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (45 hours/ week), 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST
