What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Equipment Delivery Technician position at Bay View Homecare?
Bayview Homecare in Seaford, DE is looking for a motivated and dedicated professional to fill the role of Medical Equipment Delivery Technician. Employee responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering medical equipment to patient's homes and to assisted living facilities, setting up equipment inside the residence, and instructing the patient or family members how to use equipment properly. Must be able to lift at least 80lbs. METs are also responsible for keeping accurate shipping paper records, as well as maintaining their vehicle, which includes getting regular oil changes, and performing minor repairs (replacing headlights, putting air in tires, etc.). MET's will also be on-call for one week, every 1.5 months, while earning overtime pay. Experience in the field is preferred, but not necessary, as you will go through training.
