Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Adult and Pediatric Neurosurgical team based at St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL.
- This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a growing neurosurgery practice serving both pediatric and adult patients.
- The responsibilites will include inpatient rounding, surgical assisting, and seeing patients in a clinic setting.
- Call will be shared equally 1:4 and will include answering patient calls via answering service afterhours and some hospital calls.
- This position requires teamwork, flexibility, and energy with attention to detail. Ideal candidate should be flexible, affable, creative, energetic, and can show compassion while working with patients.

Qualifications
- Experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in neurosurgery is preferred. The minimum requirements include a clinical rotation in neurosurgery or RN experience in neurosurgery. Surgical First Assist or RNFA is preferred. APP must obtain and maintain Medical Staff privileges as required by the position.
- Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
- Ability to obtain a Florida license.
