Position Summary:
Summary:
The Medical Staff Specialist is responsible for assuring departmental and hospital regulatory compliance with the credentialing and re-credentialing processes requiring Medical Staff committee approval. Monitors practitioner membership and privileging eligibility and maintains credentialing and other Medical Staff Office data bases. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Experience includes 3 years Medical Staff Office operations or 1 year credentialing/credentialing support or 2 years of Administrative Support.
