The Polysomnographic Technologist II is responsible for the performance of all the Sleep Disorders Center procedures in accordance with technical standards in the essential job functions approved by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST), and the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). A Sleep Technologist II can provide supervision of a Sleep Technologist I.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1 year experience Polysomnography OR 1 year Respiratory OR - 1 year - Electroencephalography (EEG)
Education Required:
- High School or Equivalent
- Technical Degree - Polysomnographic/ Electroencephalogram (EEG); Or - Technical - Respiratory Therapy;
Credentials:
- BLS
- RPSGT (Polysomnographic)
- OR Relevant Specialty - RRT/CRT
