Description
The Director, IT – Supply Chain & Logistics Systems is responsible for shaping business technologies and processes in these key functions to improve operating efficiency, automation, and business outcomes. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Business Transformation, this role fuses the needs of the business with the expertise of the IT department.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership on best practices / emerging technologies for the Supply Chain, Order to Cash & Logistics functions.
- Partner with leaders and practitioners within each function to enhance day to day work through people development, process improvement, and technology.
- Execute against the identified business priorities, such as touchless P2P, supplier diversity, maverick spend control, contract lifecycle management, enterprise risk management, and more.
- Drive implementation of software from solution design through hypercare leveraging internal resources and external systems integrators as required.
- Function as Supply Chain & Logistics workstream lead for upcoming SAP S / 4 migration OR have significant change management / project management leadership to play a lead role in the overall S / 4 program.
- Partner with the IT COE to embed data and analytics in business operations and align software and process solutions to D&A architecture and best practices for data driven organizations.
- Partner with Cybersecurity to minimize risk when partnering with suppliers and deploying software.
