What We Are Looking For
Baylor University Human Resources is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation and Benefits team. This position will assist and report to the Senior Compensation Analyst and is responsible for reviewing job descriptions, completing compensation reviews, and assisting with the annual faculty and staff merit processes. A Bachelor's degree, three years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Supports the day-to-day administration of compensation programs, helping drive equality and consistency within the University.
- Partners with HR Consultants to review job descriptions and complete compensation reviews for all new positions/backfills and promotions including supplemental pay requests.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition team to review candidate offers/counteroffers with a focus on internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Compiles and maintains data within third party compensation software; MarketPay.
- Gather data and submit annual market salary surveys
- HRIS quarterly release testing for the compensation and profile modules.
- Facilitation of annual faculty and staff merit process including HRIS set-up, process testing, troubleshooting and status updates.
- Ad hoc compensation data requests and reports.
- Serve as backup point of contact to Compensation leadership.
