Position available for Full Time EXEMPT Dining Room Manager
must be able to work some weekend days and be available during major functions (Sunday Brunch, Birthday Night, Uncorked, Farmers Market, Holiday BBQ's, etc.)
We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.Our dedicated team takes the health and safety of all of our employees and residents very seriously through the protocols we’ve implemented to prevent or reduce transmission of Covid-19.

Essential Job Duties:
- Supervises Dining Room staff on all shifts, am and pm. Works closely with Food and Beverage management for orientation, personal coaching and counseling, and evaluation of Dining Room Staff.
- Develops and implements an effective orientation program for newly hired employees; develops and implements policies and procedures for front of house staff - ensures all polices and procedures are being followed
- Trains and facilitates in-services for front of house staff, consistently provides on the job training and in-services
- When needed, if staffing is low, the Dining Room Manager will help serve residents and continue the work of the station server until end of shift; in addition, will perform the closing duties of the Dining Room Supervisor
- The Dining Room Manager will be the immediate spokesperson for the Food and Beverage department

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to read, speak and write the English language in order to understand instructions and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and guests- Able to work any shift as needed: AMs and PMs
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience in "front of the house operations" within a restaurant, hotel, club or similar institution
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to stand and walk up to 90% of the workday- Considerable walking, bending, stopping, reaching, twisting, and stretching
