Youth Cheer Instructor – Baltimore, MD

Ben Bellucci Academy is currently hiring a passionate and energetic Youth Cheer Instructor to lead after-school cheer sessions for elementary-aged students in Baltimore, MD. We’re looking for someone who loves working with kids, has a strong background in cheer, and can create a safe, uplifting, and motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and age-appropriate cheer routines, drills, and activities
- Teach cheer fundamentals including motions, jumps, stunts (as appropriate), chants, and basic choreography
- Organize short performances and group activities to build team spirit
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students
- Develop weekly cheer plans based on the students’ age and experience levels
- Promote teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to help each student improve
- Set up and break down any needed materials before and after each session
- Follow all safety guidelines and supervision protocols
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, especially in cheer, dance, or sports
- Strong understanding of cheerleading techniques and routines
- Energetic, friendly, and patient demeanor
- Ability to teach skills in a clear, fun, and structured way
- Comfortable working with kids of varying experience levels
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred, or willing to obtain)
- Must be able to pass a background check
Compensation
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid per session
