We are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Head of Compensation Product to lead the transformation of our global compensation practices, job architecture framework, and compensation technology infrastructure. This role will deconstruct legacy manual practices, assess technology and process gaps, and build scalable solutions that align with BBH’s partnership culture and long-term talent strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in compensation design, global benchmarking, job architecture, job evaluation governance, compensation systems, and pay transparency regulations. This requires hands on leadership, a governance mindset, and the ability to drive consistency and accountability across all levels of the organization. Reporting to our Head of Total Rewards and partnering closely with key business and HR stakeholders, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing globally distributed Compensation Center of Excellence team (“COE”). The COE owns and delivers global strategy, standards, and process for compensation across our lines of business (LOBs) and geographies. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Compensation Strategy & Transformation Assess foundational compensation programs by critically evaluating and modernizing existing frameworks, structures, and practices. Develop scalable and market-aligned base, variable, and incentive compensation programs to attract and retain top talent. Job Architecture & Evaluation Governance Lead the development and global implementation of a robust job architecture framework, including job families, levels, and titling consistency. Establish governance protocols for job creation, leveling, and evaluation processes. Implement consistent, transparent methodologies for evaluating and pricing jobs across geographies and functions. Process Redesign & Operational Excellence Assess (and redesign, if appropriate) core compensation processes including benchmarking, offer management, merit and promotion processes. Define operational standards to ensure discipline and alignment. Build strong working partnerships with HR COEs, HRBPs, Finance, and Legal to deliver seamless execution and continuous improvement. Technology, Data & Infrastructure Establish and evolve key compensation metrics and dashboards to support leadership insights and informed decision-making. Monitor and ensure compliance with pay transparency and pay equity regulations globally. Design processes and tools that make compliance with disclosure mandates seamless, auditable, and repeatable. Leadership & Collaboration Scale, mentor, and help lead a high-performing compensation team focused on operational rigor, analytical depth, and service excellence. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Total Rewards, Head of HR, and senior business leaders. Champion BBH’s Partnership values in compensation design, delivery, and communication.
