Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Support food handling procedures, ensuring all health regulations are followed for food safety and hygiene
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology is important
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
