Office Furniture Installer

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Hourly wage of $18-22 per hour (based on level of experience) with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) match.

Responsibilities:

We are a small but growing company, and that means you may be required to wear multiple hats throughout your day. As a Furniture Installer at BC Interiors, you will be a key part of our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Deliver and install commercial and educational furniture at customer facilities
• Utilize install drawings and floorplans to navigate customer facilities, stage product, and install furniture
• Fill-out project checklists, review work performed with customer, and receive customer sign-offs upon completion of all projects
• Complete service calls and warranty/punch trips
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers on-site
• Providing daily status-updates to customers and internal teams on installation progress
• Clean-up, remove, and recycle dunnage at customer facilities and at our warehouse
• Maintain box trucks, vans, and other company vehicles
• Maintain area around building to provide safe entrances and exits to showroom and warehouse

Qualifications:

• Must be a quick learner, self-motivated, and proactive
• Excellent communications skills, proficient in English, and professional demeanor
• An obsessive level of attention to detail and customer service
• Understanding and staging spaces based on a floorplan
• Follow product assembly instructions
• Use of an electric drill and other tools required for furniture installation
• You will need to have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and background check
• Ability to lift over 50lbs
• Power tools and all equipment will be provided by BC Interiors

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range of $18 – $22 per hour dependent on experience
