BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Mainframe Developer for a opportunity in Remote!

Position Title: Senior Mainframe Developer

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 08/18

Expected Duration: 8 months contract Renewable

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]

Pay Range: $48/hr.

About the Role

Job Description:

• 10 years' mainframe experience with CICS, COBOL, JCL, ICEMAN, IDCAMS, EZ Trieve, Expeditor.
• Must have CICS hands on experience creating MAPS.
• Must have DB2 experience.
• ISPW and Control-M are a plus.
• Participates in code reviews.
• Prepares and executes unit tests.
• Participate as a member of the development team.
• Perform unit design.
• Configures end-user or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Provider systems and processing a plus
• Applies company and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity.
• Motivated, innovative individual.
• Must understand mainframe integration with modern technology.
