WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Collecting, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Scanning, uploading and indexing vendor correspondences
  • Enter received vendor invoice cost accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with Department and Corporate procedures.
  • Ensure timely payment of outstanding vendor invoices, capturing maximum available discounts on all payments.
  • Performing research and reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Initiating contact with internal and external parties, as needed, for supporting documents or missing information.
  • Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles.
  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Provide excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to perform high-volume work with minimal errors and supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and vendor transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. preferred.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service men and women.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
