Job Description:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are completely and accurately accomplished, within prescribed time frame, by performing the necessary duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and work with Project Initiation team to fully define and document project scope in SOW and Functional Requirements and obtain Business Sponsor sign-off on them.
- Develop and execute all necessary project-specific documentation to define communication plan, roles & responsibilities, change management, risk management, issues management, and vendor management.
- Develop MS Project plan and schedule from Initiation team’s scoping documentation, identifying all of the tasks and durations, task dependencies, critical path, and staffing requirements.
- Work with the appropriate resource managers to arrange for recruitment and assignment of all project personnel required throughout the entire project lifecycle, based on the project plan.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within scope.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports.
- Work with sponsors and resource managers to modify schedules and/or staffing needs as indicated.
