Responsibilities
- Office 365 Administration:
Assist in the administration and management of Office 365 accounts, including user provisioning, email configuration, and access control.
- Help Desk Ticketing Administration:
Manage and prioritize help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and superior customer service.
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex technical issues.
- Basic Computer OS Knowledge:
Perform basic computer operating system tasks, including OS reset and reinstallation.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues on user devices.
- Equipment Management:
Physically visit the office as needed (2-3 days a week) to handle equipment-related tasks.
Prepare and ship out equipment, including laptops, to new users or those with equipment issues.
Receive, inspect, and store equipment returned by users, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.
- User Support:
Provide technical support to employees, addressing IT-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of IT-related activities, including ticket updates, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of IT documentation and knowledge base.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in IT are a plus.
- Strong interest in IT and technology; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows and macOS).
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Must be local to the Leesburg, VA area for occasional office visits (2-3 days a week).
