BDS Tire Recycling, Inc., located in Fairfield, Maine, has an immediate opening for a Loader Operator on our night shift (Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM) at our 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, automation-driven tire processing facility.

What You’ll Do
As a Loader Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely by:
- Equipment Operation: Using a front-end loader to handle processed materials and move scrap tires throughout the facility grounds.
- Material Handling: Loading trucks for shipment and ensuring feed bins are filled with the correct materials for production.
- Pile Management: Maintaining organized material stockpiles in compliance with DEP regulations and company policies.
- Yard Maintenance: Using loader attachments, such as rotary brooms, to keep fire lanes, access routes, and paved areas clean and free of tire debris.
- Routine Maintenance: Performing daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance such as lubrication, refueling, and cleaning to ensure reliable operation.
- Record Keeping: Documenting incidents, near misses, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Following all company and OSHA safety standards while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience operating a loader or similar heavy equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience with manual labor or industrial operations preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed directions.
- Strong mechanical ability, physical strength, and alertness.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (pre-employment physical required).
