```Job Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Faith-based Mental Health Counselor to join our team. We are a value centered counseling center, most of our clients choose to work with us due to sharing values of honesty, integrity, authenticity, trust, love and respect.
We see a variety of clients with about 30% of clients seeking us out primarily because their faith is important to them. Seeking a therapist that is able to work with clients that both want to integrate their Christian or Catholic faith or those with others faiths, or no faith. Looking for someone that understand the importance of meeting each client where they are at in their faith journey- to have the ability to deeply respect each client in our community. The ability to understand and help clients that have experienced religious trauma as well as many other forms of trauma.
Our practice values a small team environment with individuals gathering a few times a week to both process cases as well as connect socially. We strive to have a practice that holds hope for our clients and encourages each other. This field can be extremely stressful and we strive to create a supportive and positive environment for each other and our clients.
```Responsibilities```
- Conduct therapy sessions.
-work primarily in nicely decorated professional office with option of seeing some clients virtually from your home.
- use electronic medical records to document session notes
- Collaborate with other medical providers, therapists, or family as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
-Practice within NH counseling/social work ethics and standards.
```Qualifications```
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental health, Marriage and Family or related field (License degree preferred or Working toward licensure)
- Experience required
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills
