Company Description
Be Simple Music is the event booking and production company. It was founded in 2019 by Joe Matzzie in Los Angeles CA an now operates out of Pittsburgh PA.
Role Description
Wanted: Part time assistant, ongoing, with potential for increased hours.
Tasks would include sending emails to venues for potential bookings, use of company email account and google spreadsheet.
The job would start out very part time, 5 hours per week, ongoing. The emailing venues part of this job can be done remotely, on the assistant's schedule. As we start to get results and bookings, the hours will increase and tasks would include promoting upcoming performances, selling, possible video editing, possible graphic design. While this job starts out as data-entry focused job I am eager to find someone who has and can help to develop and improve systems.
Qualifications
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Intuition, ability to search and gather information online ie necessary.
• Understanding of promotion, marketing, music business a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
