Seasonal Operations Manager

Role Summary: Seasonal Operations Managers oversee all sections of park, ensuring compliance of staffing guidelines, water is safe for operation and that Operations is flowing smoothly.

• Must have a willingness to accept the most effective role.
• Provides guests with exceptional service.
• Delegates tasks to supervisors.
• Creates Schedules and assists with payroll functions (timekeeping).  
• Discipline employees when necessary.  

• Ensures guest safety.
• Checks Chemical levels of pH and PPM.*

• Ensures that staffing requirements are met and use staff efficiently. 
• Maintains high standards of safety.
• Administers random audits of skill levels and attentiveness.
• Performs opening safety inspections of rides.
• Audits, inspects and rescue documentation.
• Communicates with management regarding staffing needs.
• Turns on rides.*
• Maintains skills at a rescue-ready level at all times.
• Uses basic tools to make minor repairs throughout the park.
• Assists with various tasks including grounds, maintaining tubes, lifting heavy objects, line control and taking out trash.
• Cleans, sweeps and cleans tubes.

Qualifications:

Ø Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.

Ø Required to maintain established performance levels.

Ø Must successfully complete a swim-test and lifeguard certification course.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking to and from your entire assigned area, climbing ladders and stairs when necessary.
• Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to multiple, high-stress situations at any given time.
• Sitting for extended periods of time while maintaining a sense of high alertness.
• Standing in natural, untreated river water or other water for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time.
• Bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects.
• Must be able to push up to 50lbs and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must frequently use hands/fingers to handle tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
