The Pricing Analyst II is involved in all aspects of pricing, profitability, and execution of pricing strategies. This includes the daily management of the pricing structure, working with disparate data sources to provide comprehensive analysis and the ability to create business processes that improve profitability. This role will be partnering with branch and district managers, finance, supply chain and other key stakeholders to provide strategic pricing analysis and insights. The goal is to drive executional pricing excellence and optimize company profitability. This position requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical proficiency.

What you will do : :

Implement, maintain, and improve upon the pricing structure across the customer base

Research pricing inquiries and coordinate with internal departments as needed to implement solutions

Utilize internal reporting tools, systems capabilities, and advanced data analysis to implement margin optimization solutions

Partner with sales leadership to provide recommendations and make pricing decisions based on analysis and insights that align with Beacons strategic pricing objectives

Develop branch / district / regional reporting packages to guide / influence / drive strategic decisions

Become the subject matter expert for advanced pricing analytics and profitability reporting

Earn the trust of internal stakeholders and be recognized as a key partner in their success

What you will bring : :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field

3 years of relevant work experience within a corporate environment

A high proficiency of Microsoft Excel

Proficiency with Business Intelligence solutions (i.e. Power BI, Tableau)

Familiarity with analytical tools such as Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx , VBA, Python and / or .NET preferred

Strong technical skills and proficiency in pricing software and systems, such as ERP systems or PriceFX pricing management platforms

Experience with training and user support, including developing training materials and conducting training sessions

Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues and data discrepancies

Proficient in analyzing complex data sets to derive meaningful insights

Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
