Reports to the Director, oversees all group fitness offerings, Pilates programs, and Best Medicine programming. This role bridges fitness and healthcare by managing instructors, supporting physician-referred programs, and aligning services with strategic health system goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evaluate group fitness, Pilates, Best Medicine and Surroundcare programs.
- Supervise instructors, track class attendance and ensure high-quality class delivery and class coverage.
- Coordinate marketing, onboarding, and promotion of group classes and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to operationalize Best Medicine and SurroundCare services.
- Serve as liaison between BHF, DPTs, and physicians for integrated programming and health talk scheduling.
- Track performance and outcomes of medical fitness referrals and engagement.
- Ensure instructor credentialing, ongoing education, and member safety during classes.
- Conduct regular in-service training to ensure safety, quality control, and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee program marketing and internal communications in coordination with the marketing team.
- Assist in finding coverage for applicable member-facing services (PT sessions, IA’s, Classes, etc.), or sub when no other coverage is available.

- Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
- Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
- Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
- Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field required; master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five years of fitness industry experience, preferred experience in a supervisory or management role.

- Proficiency in standard office and fitness software applications.
- Ability to travel between Beacon Health & Fitness locations as needed.
- Primarily works in a fitness facility and office setting.
