What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Technician position at Beacon Recycling Inc?
The Fleet Technician performs diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs for all trucks, rolling stock, and heavy equipment, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance of equipment are performed in compliance with the Company's safety standards and applicable federal and state regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will get the chance to diagnose, repair, and maintain the following (but not limited to) heavy haul equipment :
o Refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems
o Chassis components
o Multi-lift axles
o PTO components
o Engines
o Suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems
o Heating and air conditioning systems
o Yard equipment
o USDOT inspections
