Empty Case Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift

Role Responsibilities
The following is a partial listing of the job responsibilities for this position:
- Unloads trucks of pre-printed cases, glass/PET bottles and other raw materials, accurately accounts for received material and verifies against daily production schedules, stages production runs while adhering to scheduling requirements.
- Must maintain departmental quality standards, to include case material condition, as well as maintain adherence to production scheduling and departmental / equipment cleanliness.
- Must maintain communication process to ensure timely and accurate adherence to production schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follows job safety and environmental requirements and communicates concerns to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all Food Safety (HACCP and ISO) guidelines, policies and procedures
Qualifications
Persons applying for this position must:
- Have an average to above average work record, i.e., job performance, safety, attendance, etc. (employees with documented problems which relate to success in this position may be disqualified)
- Be able to read English with understanding and write legibly.
- Will be required to satisfactorily operate a forklift and pass the Forklift Safety Driving Program. Have acceptable (or corrected with glasses) visual acuity and depth perception. Will be required to take and pass an eye examination.
- Ability to stand, lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently
- Ability to handle objects and use simple and firm hand grasping frequently
- Ability to reach forward and overhead occasionally
- Ability to respond to alarms and signals
- Be dependable. Display initiative and teamwork.
- Be detail oriented and able to use a computer to retrieve information.
- Perform basic mathematical functions. Will be required to take and pass a mathematical test.
- Be able to lift and handle cartons weighing 50-60 pounds.
- Be a licensed driver and may be required to use own vehicle for company business at times.
- Be able to work any shift.
