What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at BEAM Industries, Inc.?
Beam Industries is looking for a qualified shipping and receiving clerk at a fast paced warehouse for 2nd and 3rd shift. The warehouse is located in the Saginaw/Bridgeport area.
Requirements
- The perfect candidate will be able to answer the phones and communicate well with customers and drivers on the phone.
- Must be able to put together a professional email.
- Must be able to multi-task. (you must be able to Start something, stop and handle something else and then be able to go back to the 1st task).
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Must have valid Driver’s License or photo ID
- Must have open shift flexibility
- Must be able to work weekends when scheduled.
- Positive attitude.
- Must be able to type between 30-40 wpm.
Proficiency with Microsoft office Excel experience is preferred.
Starting wage is $13.00. Starting wage could be higher based on experience with warehouse work and pertinent office skills such as Excel spreadsheets, Outlook and typing.
**** Wage increases upon completion of certifications.****
Pay will go up as certifications are completed.
